RULES FOR ALL PROJECTS
- Plagiarism is against NHD rules. This includes copy/paste from secondary sources.
- Projects are the original work of the student.
- Project started after July 1 of the current contest year.

We are Utah’s official National History Day affiliate. Formerly called Utah History Fair, this program has operated continuously in Utah since 1980.
This program is available to students in 4th through 12th grade in any community or school.

HISTORICAL ARGUMENT

Thesis/Claim: My project makes an argument based on my own analysis of the historical evidence I discovered during my research.

I used a wide variety of credible secondary and primary sources in my research.

The primary sources in my project form the evidence for my argument.
I analyze the primary sources. They are more than simple decorations.
